Unknowingly at the same time, a crew in Jollibee was supposed to deliver 2 hot chocolate drinks to another customer when suddenly the crew got asked (by another customer) to give them a plastic knife (supposedly for the pancake meal that Jollibee has). The crew then placed the tray at the counter (near the daughter of the couple) to get a plastic knife for the other customer.
The crew gave the customer their plastic knife, and when the crew has gotten the tray with the 2 hot chocolate in it, that's when a tragic thing happened. It seems that the crew didn't notice the little girl whose picking her kiddie meal at the counter in which they collided with each other. And that's when the spillage of hot chocolate happened to the daughter of the couple.
A lot of netizens were angry at the parents of the kid, however some still defends them and says that it was a natural reaction for the parents to get angry to the crew. Also as seen on the video the crew of the Jollibee branch in Novatierra, Davao didn't even approached the parents or the kid in that matter to help them assist with the procedures of first aid as well as for bringing the kid in the hospital for possible burns in her body.
It was seen that the 2 crews rushed to clean the hot chocolate mess, but the manager wasn't seen in the video at all. A kind customer gave the parents some tissue paper to clean the hot chocolate drink on the clothes of their daughter.
Sad to say that the kid has burns all over her body. Yes, the Jollibee crew unit has faults in it too, not only the parents. They're both at fault however the Jollibee crews should have talked to them and cooperated.
Here's a protip to everyone who wants to be a crew for any stores that sell hot beverages, please check your surroundings a lot of times especially when your store caters to kids as well. Below is the video so better watch it, and see how both the parents and the crew reacted to the scene.
