Post of a Guy who Ordered a Meal on McDonalds Got Viral! Click Here To Know Why!

A Man named Abet Pabalate shared his experience last January 31, 2018 on his Facebook Account about how people teased him when he ordered a meal from McDonald's that night. He was like a normal guy who waited in line to purchase a spaghetti meal with burger, fries, and drinks.

But he suddenly heard some people saying that he's being nitpicky, and weird. The reason as to why he was being bashed and teased is that he brought his own food container as well as his water bottle, though technically he used his water bottle as his drinks bottle.

He posted his experience on Facebook, and it has already garnered 8,056 shares with 24 thousand likes/emotes as of this writing. He posted:

"Tignan mo si kuya oh, may baunan."
"Ang weird!"
"Ang arte!"

Well, Zero-/Less-Waste Lifestyle is not easy. And mind you, may struggles din sya na minsan hindi ko napagtatagumpayan. But, if I think about it the Earth is happy with the choices that I made. I am hoping that somehow that more people and institutions would care a little more.

Kain tayo!

English Version:

"Look at Him, he has his own food container."
"Weird Guy!"
"Being nitpicky!"

Well, having a Zero-/Less-Waste Lifestyle is not an easy feat. Mind you, there are a lot of struggles here and there in which I wasn't successful. However if I'm being positive about it, the Earth is happy with the choices that I made. I am hoping that somehow with this post, more people and institutions would care a little more about how we use plastics and styros.

Let's eat!

The guy received a lot of praises for his small but meaningful deeds, and some are even planning of buying food containers so that the next time they'll go order their food in a fast food store, they'll also copy Mr. Abet Pabalete! Kudos to you sir for a job well done!

It seems that the guy was a zero-less-waste advocate that's why he brings his own food container. Such an inspiring person!

We're also hoping that someday the government as well as other institutions will develop some plan on how we can contribute in saving the earth!
