The policemen are asking netizens to help the old man reunite with his family.
SPO2 Maximo Canico and SPO4 Jose Roel Sanchez from the Liloy Municipal Police Station in Zamboanga del Norte saw an old man in the streets and discovered that he was abandoned. He has neglected his health and hygiene, making these two men to do something a stranger wouldn’t do. They bathed the old man and gave him new clothes to change into.
Unfortunately, the old man identified as Romie Jumawan was rejected by his children and is now alone with nobody to take care of him. Saddened by the old man’s condition, the policemen took care of him even if it was just for a while.
“Ito po si Tatay Romie Jumawan ang kanyang mga anak ay sina Roberto/Rebecca Jumawan na taga Sicayab, Dipolog City… wala na pong nag aalaga kay Tatay paki share na lang po para makaabot sa kanyang pamilya para makuha na siya sa Liloy Municipal Police Station,” the Liloy MPS posted.
(This is Tatay Romie Jumawan, his children are Roberto / Rebecca Jumawan from Sicayab, Dipolog City… No one is caring for Tatay, please share so that his family can take him home from the Liloy Municipal Station.)
