Our body is running all the time, even while we are resting. It works all the time in order to undo some damage and also to adjust to the situation. But there are also fascinating tricks that you can outsmart your own body, some of those tricks might be funny, some might seem as superpowers to you.
Keep One Eye Closed
When you wake up at the middle of the night, and you want to go to the bathroom, you have to try to keep one eye closed, because if the bright light from the bulb enters in your both eyes, the body will think that it is time to wake up, and you will have a trouble to falling asleep again.
When you keep one eye closed, the brain focuses more on the darkness and falling asleep will be much easier.
Pulling the ear to deal with a headache.
Headaches can ruin your day. And many people are massaging temples when they suffer from headache, but instead of that you should pull your ear. Take your ear between your thumb and forefinger and gently pull it up and down. This way a fresh fluid to the brain will be released.
The right way of swallowing pills
Having trouble with swallowing pills? In case you do you should try the following: Start with putting the pill in your mouth and then lean your head forward before swallowing it. This way your body ill swallow the pill on its own.
Avoid crying
You should avoid crying. But how? -In the room you are, find a few different points and stare constantly at them and try to repeat the colors of those things all the time in your head.
Brain thawing
During summer, brain freeze often occurs, because then we put cold things in our mouth and the brain is having trouble with dealing with the big difference in the temperature. You can get rid of this with just pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth. This way you will relax the blood vessels.
Stop the hiccups
Hiccups can be caused by eating too fast, swallowing air, temperature changes in the stomach, or when excited. Here is one trick you need to try when experiencing hiccups next time: open your mouth and swallow several times leaving your mouth open. This way your diaphragm will relax and your hiccups will disappear.
Fear of needles
Not only kids, but also adults are afraid of needles. Try this next time you are going to the doctor’s
office: Cough lightly a few times as the needle is being placed and the procedure should ne painless. The body becomes distracted, so probably it is the reason this trick works.
Head rolling
Next time when you have sat for too long with your legs crossed or your arms ‘fell asleep’ you should try to tense the muscles in that part and shake it or hop awkwardly on one leg. You can also try to slowly roll your head from side to side because that way you will release the nerves or vessels which are pressured or the blood flow is interrupted.
