Get rid of those under eye circles – Nice and Easy!

Dark circles have always been a problem in a girl’s life. Even among guys, nowadays. Are you infuriated because no matter how many hours of sleep you get, you appear totally and completely exhausted?

Today you'll find out that dark circles under the eyes are most often genetic. (So go ahead, blame mom and dad!) They result in the skin under the eyes is thinner than at other parts of the body and therefore revealing more of the blood vessels that lie underneath. This is exactly why dark circles under the eyes become more prominent as a person ages and her skin becomes increasingly thin and papery.

The good news is that there are several home remedies that can lighten dark under-eye circles and make you appear fresher, healthier, and more awake than ever.

Tomatoes.

Times of India reports that tomatoes work surprisingly, as they make the skin soft and supple. To use this home remedy, apply a solution of 1 teaspoon tomato juice mixed along with 1 teaspoon lemon juice under the eyes. Let the solution soak in for 10 minutes and then simply wash it off with cold water. It works wonders if done twice a day.

Cold tea bags.

Resting with cold, damp chamomile or green tea bags over the eyes can be soothing and effective against dark circles, reports Times of India.

Water.

It may sound too simple, but NDTV recommends that a major culprit of dark under-eye circles is dehydration. Pump up that skin by drinking a minimum of 10- 12 glasses of water every day.

Citrus.

Vitamins B and C are founded in high-concentrations in citrus fruits like oranges and lemons, as well as kiwis and apricots, and they are the key to healthy skin texture. To improve the texture of the skin under your eyes, NDTV explains getting a significant amount of citrus in your diet can be really helpful.

Massage.

Make this your new favorite part of the day. NDTV recommends using a mixture of coconut oil and almond oil to gently massage the area around the eyes for the bet results.

Cold milk.

Milk soothes the eyes and skin. Times of India recommends letting a cotton ball soak in a bowl of cold milk. Then lie back and sit with the cotton ball over your closed eyes until you feel completely relaxed.

Potato.

Both NDTV and Times of India explain that using potato juice to lighten the skin under the eyes is the easiest way to do this is. Relax with potato slices on the eyes or grate a potato and then using a cotton ball, to soak up the potato juice and rest with the cotton ball over your eyelids.
