Blackhead is a skin disease in which the pores of skin get obstruct due to extra sebum or oil. It is very popular in teens and pre-menstrual females.
Blackheads are caused due to several reasons like heavy sweating, cosmetics and clothing that block the pores. Hence many females try getting their blackheads reduce but somehow fail to do so.
Here are ten useful ways to get the blackheads out from your skin.
#1: Sugar scrub
Mix one cup of sugar with 4 tablespoons of jojoba oil. Apply the mixture on the pores. Then rinse with water and moisturize as usual.
#2: Lemon juice
Use a cotton swab and dip into lemon juice. Then apply lemon juice with this cotton ball. Let it dry for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water.
#3: Epsom salts
Mix 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt in a half cup boiling water and add four drops of iodine to it. Let it cool and then massage the mixture on blackheads. Then wash with lukewarm water, pat dry and use a clean cloth for drying.
#4: Bentonite clay
Mix one tablespoon of bentonite clay with water or ACV. Apply on the skin and leave for 25 minutes. Rinse off the region with lukewarm water. You can apply moisturizer as well.
#5: Honey
Apply warm honey onto blackheads and keep it for 10 minutes. After the mentioned time, clean with a warm damp cloth. Repeat daily for best results.
#6: Cinnamon
Mix one part cinnamon with two parts of honey and apply. Let it remain over blackheads for 15 minutes and after that wash, follow with moisturizer.
#7: Turmeric
Turmeric works best in treating blackheads. Make a paste of Kasturi turmeric and water or coconut oil. Dab the paste on pores for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
#8: Oatmeal
Cook oatmeal and let it cool down for some time before applying to the affected area. Leave for 10 to 20 minutes after applying and then rinse with water.
#9: Green tea
Green tea is antioxidant that helps in cleaning blackhead region. Boil 8 ounces approx. To 28 grams of water and add two tea bags. Cool down the mixture and then dab it onto the affected part. Rinse with cool water followed by moisturizer.
#10: Baking soda
1 tablespoon baking soda mixed with small amount of water is the most effective mixture to be applied on blackhead region. And then rinse with water. Practice it once or twice a week.
