That's a lot of health benefits, right? Anyways let's go on with how you can use lemon as a facial beauty ingredient! You can use it in three (3) different ways and we'll list them down for you, so make sure to take note these ways as well as follow the instructions below it!
Method #1: Pure Lemon Juice
- Slice a lemon in half and use a lemon squeezer to squeeze out all the lemon in it.
- Place the lemon juice in a small bowl and use a cotton ball to soak the juice.
- Squeeze out the excess lemon juice from the cotton ball and apply it in the skin.
- Leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until it dries out completely.
- Rinse the skin with cold water and pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
- Repeat this twice a day for better results.
Method #2: Slice of Lemon
- Slice a lemon in pieces in a manner that you can still hold the outer part of it.
- Scrub the lemon on your skin using a circular motion and in a gentle and smooth way.
- Continue scrubbing your skin for a few minutes and rinse it with cold water.
- Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
Method #3: Lemon and Egg White as Mask
- Separate the egg white from the yolk in a small bowl.
- Add two (2) tablespoons of lemon juice and whisk it well.
- Once it's all mixed up and a bit foamy to touch divide it into three (3) parts.
- If you have a face mask (a clean one without any solution to it), you can use it. Soak the face mask in the first part of the egg white and apply it carefully on your face.
- In case you doesn't have a face mask, just apply the whisked lemon and egg white directly on your face.
- Apply the second part of the whisked lemon and egg white on your face mask/skin after 7 minutes, and repeat for the third (3rd) part after minutes too.
- Let it dry on your skin.
- Rinse with cold water and pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
