A couple from Cebu both passed the recent Physician Licensure Exams

It was an immense accomplishment for a pair from Cebu who both passed the Physician Licensure Exams and one of them even obtained a spot in the top 4.

26-year old Maude Tabigue from Southwestern University Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine in Cebu City was more than happy after learning that she placed 4th out of of 1,317 examinees in the recent licensure examinations for physicians.

Maude was even more thankful as her boyfriend Lui Alvarez was also one out of 813 passers of the examinations.

Maude said as she shared how it was such a dream come true for her who became the the only doctor in their clan in Carmen, Bohol:

"I offer this (success) to God, and to my family of course."

Maude and Lui have been together for two years and have been serving as an inspiration for each other.

Maude said: "It's possible, really. You just have to help each other, avoid unnecessary conflict and be each other's study buddy."

The couple's love sparked after they met at medical school and reviewed together for the board exam.
