Santa Inocencia is a 300-year old girl, who is preserved and on view in Cathedral of Guadalajara in Jalisco in Mexico.
They are a handful of stories about her death, but the most popular one is that she was a martyr for young, pure love of god.
Supposedly when Inocencia (Innocence) was young, she wanted to take her first communion, but her father forebode it.
Because of her father's distain for religion, she had to pray and study religious texts in secret.
One day the nuns at her school asked her to join in with everyone else for communion, and this time she did.
When her father found, he stabbed her to death. Her body was brought to the cathedral and has been resting there ever since.
