10 Cancer-Causing Products That You Put On Your Body Every Morning

Our body absorbs great amounts of what we apply to our skin, in only several seconds. This was also medically discovered and confirmed.

Because of this, if we struggle to promote good health and attempt to follow a healthy diet, which consists of certified organic foods, then the dangerous chemicals and compounds are not an option when it comes to cosmetic products.

In some personal care products we use, there are more then 10 000 ingredients included, and at least 515 of them are used daily by the average women.

Yet, there is one disturbing fact about all this, and it is that over 90% of the products have never been tested for safety, and those which have been researched, have been found to contain some harmful elements which can lead to birth defects, genetic mutation and cancer.

In the Press Release from the Cancer Prevention Coalition dated June 17, 2002, the following has been stated:

“Cancer and health risk experts just concluded reviews that indicate mainstream cosmetics, and personal hygiene products pose the HIGHEST cancer risk exposure to the general public, even higher than smoking.”

In the lines below, we are going to present you the 10 most dangerous carcinogens we use every day.
Here they are:

1. Deodorants

These products include Parabens, petroleum products, aluminum, and Triclosan, which are actually harmful toxins which enter the fat cells of the underarms and breasts and destroy the internal environment.

So, instead of such deodorants, you can either use Nourish Organic cream deodorant with geranium, or you may also prepare yourself a homemade one by using organic geranium essential oil and aluminum- free baking soda.

2. Toothpaste

The toothpastes we use every day contain colored dyes, saccharin, fluorides, sodium lauryl sulfate, and propylene glycol, which have been found as the cause of neurotoxicity and cancer.

In order to avoid these effects, you should buy Organic BR Brushing Rinse and add a drop of organic peppermint essential oil to it, or use non-fluoride, non-chemical toothpaste. There is also another option – you can use Dr. Christopher’s Herbal Tooth & Gum Powder.

3. Sunscreen

During the summer period, about 70% of the women use sunscreen under their makeup. Yet, these products are harmful as they involve RetinylPalmitatethat supports the growth of cancerous skin tumors and lesions. Most of the sunscreens are harmful, and they don’t protect the skin from cancer as well, and are loaded with toxins.

One such is Oxybenzone, which is known to be an endocrine disruptor. On the other hand, some recent studies have discovered that appropriate sun exposure is the best source of vitamin D and in fact, it prevents skin cancer.

Also, EWG states that high-SPF products may not really be high-SPF, so you should not waste your money on expensive SPF products and choose a clear zinc sunscreen, like Babo Botanical instead of them.

4. Talcum powder

The main ingredient in this powder is magnesium silicate, and it may often be contaminated with asbestos. Some studies also suggest that body powders may raise the risk of ovarian cancer.

Instead of them, you should either use Miessence Organic Body Powder or maybe the following safe combinations: mix 1/4 cup kuzu root starch and 1/3 cup rice flour with 7 drops of organic lavender essential oil.

5. Moisturizers

According to one study, the topical application of some moisturizers such as Eucerin Original Moisturizing Cream, Dermovan, Dermabase, or Vanicream can raise the risk for skin cancer for sure. All these products contain mineral oils, arsenic, Ionizing radiation, and coal tars. And the mineral oils have been connected with 23 different diseases, as well as health issues.

Because of this, instead of commercial moisturizers, you should use organic, unrefined, cold-pressed coconut oil.

6. Lipsticks

Some lipsticks are very toxic and contain lead, Tar, Formaldehyde, Propylparaben, Polypropylene, Petroleum Distillates, and more. Because of this, you should always look for some organic lipsticks from the nearest health food store, such asEcco Bella.

7. Hairsprays

These are also loaded with dangerous chemicals for the environment, such as Formaldehyde, shellac, denatured alcohol, propylene glycol, and Phthalates. When we use them, they may cause lung damage and numerous chemical sensitivities as well.

We are going to suggest you a certified organic product: Intelligent Nutrients hair balm.

8. Benzoyl Peroxide

In the treatment of acne and oily skin, the topical application of Benzoyl peroxide can increase the risk of melanoma. It is a compound that has strong skin tumor-promoting activity.

Instead of it, you should choose a less toxic and much safer option: organic lemon or maybe carrot seed essential oil.

9. Mascara

If you ever thought of smelling your mascara, you will feel one strange smell, and that is because of the numerous toxic cancer – causing chemicals it contains. Mascaras are actually loaded with a lot of dangerous ingredients like aluminum, Retinyl Acetate, toxic polymers, petrolatum, fragrance, petroleum distillates, formaldehyde, and parabens which support aging.

What you should remember is that you should always throw away the mascaras which are older than 6 months and instead of them, you can use organic fragrance-free mascaras, like Nvey Eco Organic Mascara.

10. Skin lighting creams

These kinds of creams are applied on our skin in order to treat hyper-pigmentation and contain excessive amounts of mercury. Besides the side – effects they have, their long – lasting results have never been confirmed.

In order to achieve the needed effects, you can schedule a diamond peel at the nearest spa instead.
We all sometimes fall in some trap when we are trying to achieve the look we desire. A lot of popular products can cause us some serious damages to our metabolism, hormones and skin balance as well.

Yet, even though the commercials for the newest cosmetic products may seem quite appealing and promising, you should always make your health your priority, and decide to try the healthier
alternative.
