MANILA -- Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa is presumably one of the several engaging Philippine National Police chiefs in current period. He's prone to his passion and he looks genuinely excited over guesting in television shows or meeting stars -- a contradiction to maybe the tough and borderline dull perception of past officials.
A further instance of this can be seen at the concert of Bryan Adams last night at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday night. Uncaring whether someone sees him or not, Dela Rosa was photographed yelling his support for the Canadian rocker.
A camera crew of ABS-CBN News was also able to get video confirmation of Dela Rosa at the concert, happily sitting at one of the front rows of the venue.
For his performance in Manila -- his first in 20 years-- Adams performed a total of 31 songs, according to organizer Wilbros Live. Adams himself seemed to enjoy the experience, posting a shot Filipino crowd shortly afterwards, writing: "Manila, great singing tonight."
One of the songs he played was "Can't Stop This Thing We Started." Check out a video of it HERE. (CLICK THIS LINK)
This isn't the first time Dela Rosa was spotted at a music event. Early this week, he was seen taking the stage at a local rock festival.
