This Is What Your Period's Color Is Saying About Your Health! MUST READ Before something serious happens!


Monthly cycles or periods occur around once a month, but they leave you feeling weak and bloated and painful. Ladies are explained that periods are required for the process of birth and producing new life on earth. Yet understanding that they are part of you till reaching its ending age, each time they are around you are irritable.

But did you know that your periods can actually indicate a lot about your health? From its color to its frequency and flow, it’s all related to your health. Let’s see what the color of your monthly flow tells you:

Reddish Pink


When your monthly flow gets mixed with your mucous discharge, it results in reddish pink flow, which is normal for a day. However you maintain this color throughout the flow, it could indicate hormonal fluctuations, internal injury or pregnancy.

Bright Red



Cranberry-hued or bright red flow is considered as a healthy flow. This simply means the shedding of uterus lining is normal. However, if you periods continue for more than eight days, you need to speak to your gynecologist to rule out other health issues.

Deep Burgundy




It is only normal to notice deep burgundy flow on the heavy flow days like a second and third day. But if continues for more than two days, it could indicate fibroid.

Red Orange



Though it’s a rare occasion but if you notice an orangish flow, check if it's together with a foul smell. If yes, then it means you are having an infection, this calls for a visit to your gynecologist.

Brown Black



A brown-black flow is nothing but a leftover shedding from your last period and shouldn’t bother you as it is considered normal. But in case you notice an orangish flow along with this, you need to get it checked.

Spotted



By spotting it does not mean that it occurs in small spots, but it's the staining. It indicates a hormonal change or even a sign of pregnancy. Get it examined to avoid complications.
